How I Can Support You
No two healing journeys look alike — but every path begins with a door. Whether you’re working through trauma, managing stress, or seeking balance, we’ll step through together using compassionate, somatic-based tools.
Every door opens to a new way of healing.
Somatic Experiencing™
Reconnect your mind and body — gently and at your own pace.
Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to therapy that helps you understand how stress and trauma live in your body, not just in your thoughts.
When something overwhelming happens, the nervous system can get stuck in survival mode — even long after the danger has passed. You might notice this as anxiety, shutdown, chronic tension, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others.
Instead of retelling your story over and over, somatic work focuses on what your body is experiencing right now. Together, we’ll slow things down and build awareness of sensations, movement, breath, and signals of safety. This helps your nervous system gently release what it’s been holding onto and learn that it’s okay to settle again.
This work is not about pushing, reliving trauma, or “fixing” yourself. It’s about creating safety, choice, and trust in your body — so healing can unfold naturally, in real life, not perfection.
EMDR
Reprocess the past, reclaim the present.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed therapy that helps the brain and body process traumatic or overwhelming experiences that feel stuck. When the nervous system doesn’t fully process an event, the memory can continue to trigger anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or strong reactions long after the danger has passed.
Using guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain’s natural ability to reprocess memories in a safer, more integrated way. You do not have to relive trauma in detail or retell your story over and over. Sessions move at a manageable pace, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and nervous system regulation.
Over time, memories that once felt intense often lose their emotional charge. Many clients experience reduced triggers, improved emotional regulation, and a greater sense of calm and resilience in daily life.
EMDR is commonly used for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and experiences that continue to affect you in the present. The goal is not to erase the past, but to help it loosen its grip so you can move forward with more ease and self-trust.
Nervous System Regulation
Your nervous system’s job is to keep you safe. When it senses stress or danger, it automatically shifts into survival mode. For many people, that response doesn’t fully turn off, even when life is calmer. As a result, the body may stay stuck in patterns of anxiety, overwhelm, exhaustion, or shutdown.
Nervous system regulation work helps your body learn how to recognize safety again. Instead of forcing yourself to relax or “push through,” we focus on gentle, practical tools that help settle the system. This may include grounding practices, breath work, movement, sensory awareness, and learning to notice early signs of stress before they escalate.
Together, we’ll build skills you can use in everyday life — at work, at home, and in relationships — to help you feel more steady and present when stress shows up. Over time, your nervous system becomes more flexible, allowing you to move out of survival mode and return to balance more easily.
This work is especially helpful for anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, and trauma. The goal isn’t to eliminate stress, but to help your body recover more quickly and feel safer in the present moment.
Tools for everyday life.
Trauma Informed Care
No two healing journeys look the same. Trauma-informed care means therapy is shaped around your pace, your experiences, and what feels safe for you, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Many people come to therapy carrying experiences that taught their body to stay on guard. Trauma-informed care recognizes this and places safety first. We move at a speed that feels manageable, and you are never required to share details before you’re ready.
This approach is collaborative and grounded in choice. We check in along the way so you remain present and in control. Rather than striving for perfection or pushing for change, the focus is on creating enough safety and trust for growth to happen naturally.
Over time, this can help you feel more stable, more connected to yourself, and better able to navigate stress, emotions, and relationships in everyday life.
Compassion at the center.
Every doorway is a chance for your nervous system to reset, reconnect, and heal.
Fees & Insurance
I currently accept insurance and also offer self-pay services. My goal is to be as transparent and supportive as possible around cost, while keeping the focus on your care — not the fine print.
Insurance
If you plan to use insurance, coverage and out-of-pocket costs (such as copays or deductibles) are determined by your specific plan. I’m happy to discuss insurance participation and help you understand what questions to ask your provider so there are no surprises.
Self-Pay
Self-pay services are available. Rates vary depending on the type and length of session. If you’re considering self-pay, we can talk through current rates and what to expect before getting started.
Good Faith Estimates
If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services, as required by the No Surprises Act. This estimate is provided before services begin and is designed to help you make informed decisions about your care.
Please note that a Good Faith Estimate is an estimate, not a guarantee, and actual costs may vary based on your individual needs and the course of therapy.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or payment options, you’re welcome to reach out. I’m happy to talk through this with you so you can focus on what matters most — your healing.
Whether you’re interested in scheduling a counseling appointment or have a question about services, I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a note below and I’ll be in touch soon.
